Participate

We know we are not any special group of people, but saved by God’s grace, we are committed to using our abilities and gifts in obedience to God’s calling so the Gospel is preached to all nations.

We would love for you to participate in the mission of spreading the Gospel. While there are practical ways for you to participate in what we personally are doing, we would also like to emphasize the greatness of our God and His kingdom and the importance of all forms of ministry He calls believers to. It is “our” mission in the sense that we received the commandment to share the Gospel from the Lord Jesus, as carried down through the apostles and disciples of Jesus; but it is not “our” mission in the sense that we have ownership of certain ministries. Just as we are only a small part of the Body of Christ and cannot take ownership of the whole Body, likewise Gospel ministry is for everyone who is the Lord’s and not just ours to control. Therefore, we would like to encourage all believers to seek the Lord’s guidance on practical steps you personally, your ministry, or group can take to serve Him and be obedient to His calling.

We stand with every member of the Body of Christ who is laboring for the Lord Jesus and His kingdom. To advocate for the oneness of the Body of Christ, we gladly co-labor with local churches and other Christian ministries. If you participate in Gospel-labor by being a living witness of the Gospel of the grace of God, then we are laboring together as ambassadors of Christ.

Below are some ways you can participate in spreading the Gospel:

  1. Be devoted to God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

If your relationship with God is not right, there cannot be a fruitful ministry. As the Bible says, “To obey is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22), and your obedience of faith in Jesus Christ is the key to your devotion and relationship with God.

Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father (Colossians 3:17).
  2. Live according to the Gospel.

Once you believe in faith the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you must live according to your faith in Christ. The Gospel is not just an introduction to your Christian faith – it is the entirety of your Christian faith. The Gospel is not just for the first day of your Christian life – it is for every day of your Christian life. You must live in and through the Gospel every day.

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
  3. Read the Bible yourself to learn sound doctrines/teachings from the Bible.

How do we know God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world? Because the Bible says so. There is much more God has preserved in His written word for you to learn about His will, plan, and purpose for your life. Remember, the Bible is not just a book for reading. It is a book for you to study so you can apply and practice what God has for you through your life. See our helpful biblical doctrine videos or articles.

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
  4. Share the Gospel with others.

Whether it is with a person you meet at the grocery store, your co-worker during your lunch break, or intentional evangelism, spread the good news of Jesus with others. When you pray God would give you opportunities to share the Gospel, He will surely lead you. This is not a transactional work or burden; this is the way of life in Christ.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
  5. Be part of a healthy (Bible-believing) local church.

It is important to surround yourself with Godly Christians who are devoted to following Christ and helping one another in times of need. If you have not found a church to be part of, look for a church led by biblically qualified men where God’s word is preached truthfully and accurately for the edification of believers. You can contact us for a recommendation of churches in your area.

Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near (Hebrews 10:24–25).
  6. Give glory to God in all things.

From rebellious, ignorant, selfish, and sinful, God has redeemed and reconciled those who are in Christ as a new creation and restored them to a glorious relationship with God. In the restored relationship with God, we are to give glory to God in all things, as He has provided this great salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
  7. Volunteer with ONE for the GOSPEL Ministries.

ONE for the GOSPEL Ministries may, from time to time, have open positions for volunteers to support the mission of spreading the Gospel. If you are interested in our open positions, you can contact us here.

I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.
