Spread the Word
The Gospel is God’s message to mankind. It is God’s power and salvation to everyone who believes. Therefore, we must carry and spread the Word of God to the dying world.
What is the mission of the church? What is the message we carry to the world? It is not our message or our opinion we carry. It is God’s message to mankind, God’s word, that we carry to the dying world. It is for this reason that God’s people are here as God’s witnesses and His light for the world to see there is salvation in the name of Jesus. Therefore, we are to spread the Word of God.
There are different ways to take part in spreading the Word of God:
Give Bibles, Gospel tracts, and Gospel materials to others.
We regularly send financial support to our co-laborers in the field around the world for them to distribute Bibles. We also give away Bibles and children’s bible story books in our outreaches. Be the message yourself.
While giving money for Bibles and sharing the Gospel with others are both important, embodying the message of Christ’s love and salvation is an often-overlooked aspect of Christian ministry. If you have received the salvation of God through Jesus Christ, you are a living witness. It is when you live according to the Gospel by faith, not living for this temporal life but for the eternal one, that you become an ambassador of Christ, a letter of Christ, and the Word of the Lord is glorified in you.
“Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you.”
