Who We Are

The word “one” from ONE for the GOSPEL Ministries has two meanings. First, it is a declaration that I as a person am one for the Gospel. Obviously, we are not the only ones laboring for the Gospel, as there are countless faithful ones serving the Lord to spread His word all around the globe (not to mention all those who have gone before us, starting with the apostles), but we want to make a personal declaration that I am one for the Gospel. Second, it means we who are members of the Body of Christ are all one in sharing the gospel, as there is only one Body of Christ. While the Body of Christ may seem so divided today, there is only one body, one Spirit, one hope of calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all (Eph. 4:4–6). God has given us one message to proclaim to the world—that is, the one, and only one, Gospel. It is that one Gospel we are here to proclaim.

James is a gospel preacher and elder at House to House Memphis (located in Memphis, TN). Ever since God called him into the ministry, James and his whole household, an amazing wife and five wonderful children, have been serving the Lord together for the glory of God. To equip the Body of Christ, James has a master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Bob Jones University Seminary and is a doctoral student (in Theology and Apologetics) at Liberty University in the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity. Most importantly, James is grateful that Christ is his Savior and Lord.
